We're hiring Yard Dog Drivers to support our busy Pistachio Season in Terra Bella, CA! If you have experience moving trailers safely and efficiently in a fast-paced yard environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely move trailers throughout the facility yard.
- Position trailers at loading and unloading docks.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on yard equipment.
- Communicate with shipping, receiving, and warehouse teams to ensure efficient trailer movement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist with additional yard or warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous Yard Dog, Yard Hostler, or trailer-moving experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license required (CDL may be required depending on assignment).
- Ability to safely maneuver trailers in tight spaces.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours during peak season as needed.
- Strong attention to safety and communication skills.
Pay & Benefits
- Pay: $17.00 $17.50 per hour
