Full Steam Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving/Shipping Clerk for a valued client in Salinas, CA. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods within the warehouse. This includes receiving incoming shipments, verifying orders, preparing outgoing shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records.




Job Title: Warehouse Clerk

Location: Salinas, CA

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Shift: 2nd shift (PM)

Benefits: Medical, Dental, and AD&D




Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving:
  • Receive and process incoming shipments.
  • Verify order accuracy and quantity.
  • Conduct quality checks on incoming goods.
  • Update inventory systems with received items.
  • Shipping:
  • Prepare outgoing shipments according to customer orders.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Ensure timely and accurate shipment delivery.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Warehouse Maintenance:
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.




Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • 2+ years of experience with barcode scanning systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 1   
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a MUST.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
