Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support daily laboratory operations in Salinas, CA. The ideal candidate will assist with sample processing, data recording, quality assurance checks, and general lab maintenance. This position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities:
- Process incoming samples
- Accurately record and maintain detailed data
- Perform Quality Assurance (QA) checks
- Conduct facility and field sampling of product and water
- Utilize laboratory equipment (e.G., scales, autoclaves)
- Clean and maintain glassware, laboratory work areas, and utensils
- Prepare media and perform pipetting and serial dilutions
- Retrieve samples from various locations as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Laboratory experience and aseptic technique skills a plus (not required)
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Clean DMV record
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Strong math skills
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic
- Flexible availability for weekends, evenings, and overtime
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- Science background a plus
- Professional demeanor and reliability
