POSITION: Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Main Duties
- Process outbound shipments
- Pull, pack, fulfill and ship
- Pull, pack, fulfill and ship
- Maintain a safe and clean warehouse
- Make sure refrigerator and freezers are organized, clean, and ready for the day
- Prepare and harvest ice from large freezers into shipping freezers
- Prepare cardboard boxes for the day' s shipments
- Clean/maintain orderliness of shipping office and cooler stations
Secondary Duties
- Organize shipping cooler at the beginning of each shipping period for pulling product to ship
- Ensure that there is always more than enough ice for the next day
- Defrost freezers when necessary
- Assure sufficient product and supply inventory in collaboration with shipping and production teams
POSITION: Pellet Food Production
- Work and coordinate with other Pellet Food Production Employee to assist with any and all needs
- Mix and package pellet feeds according to food production GMP s and internal quality requirements
- Maintain work area and tools in sanitary condition
- Communicate needs and requirements for materials and assistance to all appropriate team members
- Mix products; ensuring proper consistency under guidance of Production Lead
- Bottle products according to established Good Manufacturing protocols
- Print and label bottles as requested
- Minor label modifications on the computer
- Minor label modifications on the computer
- General assistance with any farm related work as requested by management
- Available for odd jobs, construction, maintenance, clean-up as required
- Maintain quat foot baths in accordance with biosecurity protocols

- Supervised/evaluated by Assistant Operating Manager, Office Manager and/or designee.
- Works directly under Shipping Department Lead, Production Lead, and other Pellet Food Production Attendant.
- Must enjoy working in a rural environment and not mind getting wet/dirty

- Ability to work in light to moderate noise levels where hearing protection is required.
- May work near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles and vibration.
- Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity for repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift/move up to 60 lbs to shoulder height. Push/pull items up to 100 lbs. With assistance.
- Walk up to 400 yards to work and break areas.
- Must enjoy working in a rural environment and not mind getting wet/dirty.
- Shiftwork is common, including on weekends and public holidays.
