Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
  • Ensures the quality of all incoming liquid ingredients, batches, and finished product

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (List the major duties of the job in order of importance)
  • Ensure all products meet the customer and product requirements;
  • Keep all work areas and equipment within SQF Standards. Work areas should be prepared for the next shift and clean at all times;
  • Ensure all personal protective equipment is properly worn at all times;
  • Ensure all equipment is setup, calibrated and functioning properly throughout your shift;
  • Perform Distillations, Emulsions, Water Activity and Microbiological testing as needed;
  • Perform analytical testing as needed for batches;
  • Able to use all laboratory equipment;
  • Obtain liquid ingredient samples from bulk containers when needed and complete the required testing;
  • Recommend adjustments be made to batches as needed to obtain in spec product;
  • Perform documented visual inspections from filling to packaging;
  • Monitor finished product weights for product on calibrated scales;
  • Place batches or finished products on hold as required;
  • Perform required quality testing and record accurate product specifications in a timely manner;
  • Responsible for performing distillations on all required incoming alcohols, batches, and finished products;
  • Conduct microbiological testing and emulsion analysis;
  • Generate COA paperwork and other documentation for outgoing bulk shipments;

Job Type: Full-time




Salary: $16.50 - 17.00

2nd and 3rd Shift




Experience:
  • Quality Control: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Quality Assurance: 1 year (Preferred)
