Job Summary:
The Production Technician meets daily production needs in manufacturing quality parts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work safely in a team environment
- Meet daily production needs in manufacturing quality parts
- Must be able to read and learn to interpret specification sheets and mechanical drawings
- Must be able to learn to read precision measuring instruments
- Set up/Troubleshoot equipment
- Assist other shifts or areas as needed
- Keep work area clean
Skills and Abilities:
- Must be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, specification sheets, and/or mechanical drawings, and in precision measurement, or become proficient through training.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk on the concrete plant floor for extended periods of time.
Education and Experience:
- High School Education or GED
