Are you detail-oriented and passionate about compliance and payroll? We have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Admin Payroll Supervisor at our Food Distribution Center in Redlands, CA.




Job Summary

The Compliance Payroll Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the payroll compliance process

to ensure that all payroll activities are conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local

regulations. This role involves supervising the payroll team, ensuring timely and accurate payroll

processing, and implementing and maintaining payroll systems and procedures. The Compliance

Payroll Supervisor will also handle complex payroll issues, conduct audits, and ensure the

company is compliant with all payroll-related laws and regulations.




Key Responsibilities

- Supervision: Oversee and manage the payroll team, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

- Compliance: Ensure all payroll processes comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including tax laws, wage and hour laws, and other payroll-related legislation.

- Payroll Processing: Supervise the preparation and distribution of payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Audits: Conduct regular audits of payroll procedures and records to ensure compliance and accuracy. Address and resolve any discrepancies.

- System Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and updates of payroll systems and software. Ensure systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.

- Reporting: Generate and review payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. Provide reports to management as needed.

- Training: Train payroll staff on compliance requirements and company policies and procedures.

- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve complex payroll issues and discrepancies. Provide support to employees regarding payroll inquiries.

- Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of payroll activities, policies, and procedures.

- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance payroll operations.







Minimum Requirements:

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

The ability to be a self-initiator who can complete assigned tasks with little or no supervision.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of payroll systems and able to grasp processing and system software quickly.

Knowledge of Paychex and associated software s is a plus.

An associate degree in a business-related discipline is preferred but not required
