We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team in Watsonville, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure efficient production processes. The Machine Operator will play a critical role in our manufacturing operations, contributing to the quality and timely delivery of our products.
Shft: AM & PM | Pay Rate: $16/hr
Responsibilities:
1. Operate assigned machinery in a safe and efficient manner according to established procedures and guidelines.
2. Monitor machinery during operation to ensure proper functioning and identify any potential issues or malfunctions.
3. Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
4. Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
5. Troubleshoot machinery problems and make adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal performance.
6. Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
7. Collaborate with other team members to achieve production targets and deadlines.
8. Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, downtime, and output.
9. Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge of machinery and processes.
10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to quality control, safety, and cleanliness.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
3. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
