Shift: 2nd Shift (2: 50 PM 11: 30 PM)

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team on 2nd shift. This role is a hybrid position with approximately 70 80% hands-on production floor responsibilities and 20 30% clerical and inventory/data entry tasks.The ideal candidate must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance with production standards.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation & Production Support
- Inspect and maintain cleanliness of the machine work area.
- Coordinate with the Lead Person on production schedules and product runs.
- Set up and adjust machinery (reeling, injector, and labeler machines) based on bottle size and production specifications.
- Verify bottles, containers, labels, and caps meet required specifications (size, color, and quality).
- Check availability of materials (bottles, caps, labels) prior to starting production.
- Perform pre-operation equipment checks, including product flush and fill level verification.
- Conduct specification sheet inspections to ensure production compliance.
- Perform routine spot checks for product quality, including contamination, color, and viscosity.
- Monitor supply levels of materials throughout the production line.
- Track product temperature when applicable.
- Report mechanical issues to the Lead Person or Supervisor immediately.
- Troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions and resolve routine operational issues.
- Complete all required production and line documentation accurately.
Data Entry & Inventory Support
- Assist the Production Supervisor in organizing and reviewing production documentation for accuracy.
- Collect and input production data including downtime, output, and pallet counts into spreadsheets.
- Verify and correct data entries as needed.
- Document noncompliant packaging materials, including vendor and lot numbers, and prepare reports.
- Communicate production updates and issues via email to management.
- Maintain and organize digital records in OneDrive (Daily downtime reports, NCRs, etc.).
- Track and manage inventory of production materials such as caps, labels, and boxes.
- Monitor material usage and report shortages or discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operator role preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work 2nd shift and in a production environment.
