The Lab Technician will support daily laboratory operations by collecting and testing samples, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all testing procedures meet company quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, prepare, label, and test product samples according to company procedures.
- Perform routine laboratory testing and record accurate test results.
- Maintain detailed laboratory logs and documentation.
- Operate, clean, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Monitor product quality and report any out-of-specification results to supervisors.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, and laboratory safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory.
- Assist with inventory of laboratory supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance and Production teams to ensure product quality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous laboratory, quality control, or food manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs. As needed.
