Position - Kitchen Helper $13.00/hr
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1-Wash and sanitize hands each time you enter production area or as needed.
2-At start up Assist APV Operator in assembling equipment properly
3-Load ingredients in kettles as directed by Supervisor
4-Prepare ingredients as directed by Supervisor
5-Wash and sanitize tanks in the kitchen after as necessary
6-Properly label and I.D. All tanks of food.
7 -Properly cover and seal tanks of food. Covered or otherwise
8-When using cleaning and/or sanitizing chemicals, ensure all food products are protected and use proper personal safety equipment
9-Keep kitchen are and floor clean and free of debris and clutter.
10-Follow the proper safety & M.C.I. Regulations
11-Maintain a safe work environment
12-Report all injuries and illnesses to your supervisor immediately
13-Perform other duties as assigned.
Office area and food production area. Must be able to work in cold (less than 40 F) and hot (up to 100 F) very humid Environments.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Knowledge of GMPs, and QC requirements regarding Food Safety Must be able to understand basic English. Must have knowled g e of basic mathematical skills.
EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:
Electric and Manual pallet jacks. Electric Walk Behind Lift.
SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employee must carry/lift items up to 50lbs frequently for a distance of up to 30ft. Use of Ladders and catwalks. Must be able to stand on production floor for prolonged periods of time (8-10
hrs) on concrete/metal grate floors). Regularly required to stand, climb, or balance, stooping, kneeling crouching or crawling.
