You will lead a dedicated HR team, providing guidance on a wide range of HR functions, from talent acquisition to employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership:
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support the overall business goals.
- Provide expertise and guidance on workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.
- Talent Acquisition and Retention:
- Oversee the full life cycle of recruitment, ensuring the acquisition of top talent to meet organizational needs.
- Develop and implement retention strategies to foster a positive and engaging workplace.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related matters.
- Handle employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution, ensuring a fair and respectful workplace.
- Performance Management:
- Lead the performance management process, including goal-setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
- Provide coaching and support to managers in addressing performance-related issues.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate the development and delivery of training programs.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Compliance and Policies:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Review and update HR policies and procedures to align with best practices and legal requirements.
HR Analytics:
- Utilize HR data and analytics to make informed decisions and recommendations.
- Generate regular reports on key HR metrics and trends
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master s degree and HR certification (e.G., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR leader, with a minimum of [7] years in a senior management role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into effective HR strategies.
- Demonstrated success in talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development.
Additional Information:
Please read below:
- Ability to work in a Distribution Center environment with a variety of temperatures
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Days company closed: Christmas and New Years, Thanksgiving they work or work 1/2 day
- During their go-live period (projects) employees can work 10 hours a day
- Vacation Time Blackout period during busy season Company has blackout dates where no one can take vacation October-February
- The schedule usually 1st shift but must have open availability
