The Mixer / Pre-Weigher plays a critical role in supporting production operations by ensuring that raw materials and batch ingredients are accurately prepared, weighed, mixed, and delivered according to production schedules and quality standards. - Thursday- Saturday 4: 00 AM & 2: 00 PM

Performance Expectations
- Follow all batch sheet requirements, SOPs, GMPs, and safety policies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in quality control records and ERP systems.
- Report any batch discrepancies, safety concerns, or quality issues to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe working environments for both mixing and pre-weigh areas.
- Operate mixing and weighing machinery safely and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with team members across Production, Compounding, and Warehouse departments.
- Arrive to work and meetings on time and prepared, adhering to attendance guidelines.
- Demonstrate curiosity and initiative to learn and improve production and compounding processes.
Mixer Responsibilities:
- Fill out batch sheets and quality control records accurately.
- Mix batch ingredients using mixing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Move barrels, pallets, and raw materials to designated areas as needed.
- Assist with inventory of raw ingredients and perfumes.
- Exercise authority to stop production if quality or SOP standards are not met.
Pre-Weigher Responsibilities:
- Receive raw materials and enter transfers accurately in the ERP system.
- Pre-weigh batch materials as per Work Order schedules and deliver to Compounding team.
- Verify weights, lot numbers, and codes of raw materials;conduct cycle counts and reconcile inventory in ERP.
- Request materials from Warehouse in advance and coordinate with Quality Department for inspections/releases.
- Cut tops off empty barrels for disposal and assist with cleaning utensils, tools, and equipment in the Compounding area.
- Return unused materials to Warehouse with proper labeling and system updates.
- Report to Production Supervisor and Production Manager.
- Collaborate closely with material handlers, production workers, compounding team, warehouse, and quality personnel.
- Authorized to halt production if product quality or safety is compromised.
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in GMP settings.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze data, make evaluative judgments, and communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of quality control and GMP practices.
- Proficiency with mixing and weighing equipment and ERP systems (e.G., Sage).
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, crouching, and climbing.
- Exposure to industrial hazards including noise, dust, wet areas, hazardous materials, machinery, and lifting equipment.
