Job Summary
The Production Baker is responsible for preparing, mixing, baking, and handling large-scale food products in a production or manufacturing environment. This role focuses on consistency, quality, and efficiency while following food safety and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and mix ingredients according to production recipes and specifications
- Operate industrial baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, and conveyors
- Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality
- Perform quality checks on finished products
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area following food safety guidelines
- Accurately document production and batch records
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and GMP procedures
- Assist with other production tasks as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous food production or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and production schedules
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
