Job Summary
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, and organize materials within the warehouse or production facility. This role supports daily operations by ensuring products are handled efficiently and stored properly.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely to transport materials and products
- Load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers
- Stack, organize, and store materials in designated areas
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues
- Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
- Assist with inventory movement and warehouse organization
- Keep work areas clean and free of hazards
- Communicate with supervisors and team members as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous forklift experience required
- Valid forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
