Now Hiring Project Inventory Control Supervisor in Redlands, CA. Candidate must have distribution or food industry experience.

Shift: 1st

Pay: $68, 640K

Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD &D, Merit Pay




Job Purpose: Project Inventory Control Supervisor will assist on overseeing all Service Centers nation wide and assist in providing reports needed for each service center.




Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations in the Inventory Control department on the

Ensure that safety rules, production, and sanitation standards are met.

Cycle Count Program

Pick location creation (new items) or re-profiling

Run Inventory reports, (pick hits, lost in cycle count, expiration management, adjustments)

Process all TO s (transfer orders) RTV s (return to vendor) Dispositions (dump and destroy)

Trouble shoot and problem solving to Root Cause

PO discrepancy research or any analytical research

Forklift Operations

QA (quality assurance) and spot checking for code dates

Reporting all employee errors and completing incident reports

Inventory Integrity

Assist the Control Center

Assigns duties to employees and schedules break periods, work hours, and vacations. Schedules and performs periodic evaluations of employees as dictated by the appropriate HR policies.

Assist other warehouse floor supervisors and associates in warehouse policies, departmental procedures, and job duties.

Follow up on customer concerns/complaints, examines discrepancy reports, and resolutions to restore and promote good public relations with the client.

Promotes a positive work environment while also being a team builder.

Work closely with staff to ensure that quality and productivity requirements are maintained and communicated to each associate.

Must be flexible and able to work any shift in support of business needs.

Skills and Abilities

Strong computer skills required;with knowledge in MS Office, Excel and WMS system literacy

Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and

verbal communication skills. Must be able to manage and lead a diverse workforce.




Education and/or Experience:

Some college level management education and/or 2 years warehouse supervising in

wholesale industry

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Must be able to work standing up or sitting down for long periods of time.

Must be able to traverse and access all areas of a warehouse environment.

Must be able to work in a distribution center environment with a variation of temperatures.

Ability to safely work around/with heavy moving equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks,

clamps, scissor lifts) in a high paced environment.




Travel Requirements

This position may require occasional travel, subject to business needs. Employees should be prepared

to travel for meetings, training or other work-related events as necessary.
