Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Pay Rate: $24-$30/hr.
Shift: TBD
Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D, PSL
Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance of the equipment. The mechanic will be mostly on the production floor diagnosing and repairing equipment involved with production and the facility. They will be welding, repairing equipment that is in need of repair, including diagnosing, ordering parts when needed, and completing repairs in a timely manner. They will be reporting the status of equipment and plans for all repairs to the quality and operations team. They will be maintaining and building new relationships with the parts vendors. Driving a forklift will be required.
Procurement Responsibilities
They will be responsible for the planned maintenance and the diagnosing and repairing of equipment when it is broken down.
All types of welding will be required with a specific focus on sanitary welding will be needed for this role.
Electrical work including installation of motors and VFD s will be helpful in this role.
They will be responsible for the communication with vendors and ordering of parts necessary for repairs.
Ability to maneuver and get into tight spaces will be required.
They will need to report to the operations team the status of repairs and the plans to get all repairs
Work order management and the ability to assign priorities for repairs.
Additional work and activities as needed or requested by management.
The ability to drive standard forklifts will be required.
Education / Skills Requirements:
3+ Years experience with food or beverage,
Strong verbal communication skills.
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
Capable of driving forklift and/or forklift certified.
Developed problem solving skills and ability to react to changes in plan.
Able to multi-task and problem solve.
Ability to work positively with others in a team environment.
