Full Steam Staffing is looking for a motivated Seasonal Payroll Coordinator to join our team in Ontario, CA. This position will provide essential support to payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing employee payroll. The Payroll Coordinator will assist the payroll team with day-to-day functions, maintaining payroll data, supporting compliance, and helping resolve payroll-related inquiries.

Pay Rate: $19.00/HR

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and motivated Payroll Coordinator to join our team. This entry-level position plays a vital role in supporting payroll operations, data entry, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and eager to learn, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.




Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry for payroll processing.
  • Support payroll department with administrative duties and document control.
  • Maintain employee confidentiality and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
  • Assist with entry-level payroll processing tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, branches, and team members regarding payroll inquiries.
  • Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Provide excellent customer service when assisting internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:
  • Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow direction and work independently when needed.
  • Strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient typing skills (40+ WPM).
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Google Workspace, and Adobe.
  • Previous accounting experience a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Friendly, professional attitude with a desire to learn and grow.

Work Environment:
  • 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday
