Full Job Description
Full Steam Staffing is hiring experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Drivers to join our busy warehouse and logistics team. In this fast-paced role, you will safely operate powered industrial trucks to load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the facility to support daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or cherry picker forklifts safely and efficiently
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight from trailers and shipping containers
- Transport raw materials and finished products to designated warehouse storage bays or production lines
- Perform daily pre-operation vehicle safety inspections and report any equipment maintenance needs
- Stack, palletize, and store goods while maximizing warehouse vertical storage space
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using RF equipment and warehouse management systems
- Follow all OSHA regulations, warehouse safety protocols, and company rules
Schedule:
- Flexible Schedule: Must have open availability to work both AM (Day) and PM (Evening/Night) shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1 2 years of verified forklift driver experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Forklift certification preferred (or ability to pass company certification upon hire)
- Proficient in using RF scanners and operating warehouse equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
- Excellent spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail
- Strong attendance record, punctuality, and reliable transportation
