We are hiring a Forklift Operator to assist with production in Orland, CA! The position is for the harvest season at an olive company. The role may involve a variety of general labor tasks, including green grading, sorting olives, processing fruit, regrading, and forklift driving. Applicants must be able to work a demanding schedule and overtime.
Pay Rate: $19.25/hr.
**Candidate must have 3-4 years experience in Forklift and high stacking **
Duties & Responsibilities

Administration
Process all necessary paperwork when receiving pistachio or almond loads into the facility including manifests, delivery tickets, labels, and tags.
Operate vehicle scale system to obtain weight of loads.
Enter data into harvest computer system.
Quality Control
Collect samples at various harvest operation sites for testing.
Test samples for various attributes and enter data into harvest computer system. Sample collection sites include, but are not limited to: Grower Receiving, Splitting, Pits, Dryers, Peelers, Gravity Line and Silos.

- Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred but not required).

- Knowledge of basic mathematical functions specific to addition and subtraction (preferred but not required).
- Entry level computer skills (preferred but not required).
- Attend safety meeting and other departmental or company related meeting assigned.
- Participate in all Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) events and trainings.
- Observe all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) as specified by the Company s food safety policy.
- Perform additional duties assigned.
