Job Description
We are currently hiring experienced Forklift Operators for a fast-paced production facility in Moss Landing, CA. This role is responsible for safely operating forklifts and supporting daily warehouse and production operations. Candidates must be comfortable working in a cold environment with strong fish odors and slippery floors while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and efficiency at all times.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday Friday (schedule may vary)

Essential Job Duties
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials and products throughout the facility
- Load and unload pallets, shipments, and production materials
- Transport products between warehouse and production areas
- Assist with inventory organization and material staging
- Support production teams with general facility operations as needed
- Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with facility maintenance and additional duties as assigned
Work Environment
- Cold working environment
- Strong fish odors present throughout the facility
- Slippery floors in certain production areas
- Fast-paced production setting
- Shift schedules and pay rates may be subject to change based on operational needs
Job Requirements
- Previous forklift operating experience preferred
- Forklift certification preferred;training documentation maintained on-site
- Ability to lift between 23 35 lbs regularly
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and working long shifts
- Strong attention to safety and workplace procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
PPE & Equipment Provided
All required PPE is provided, including:
- Smocks
- Gloves
- Safety glasses
- Face masks
- Protective sleeves
- Additional protective equipment as needed
- Rubber boots are also provided and stored on-site for employee use.
