Job Summary
The Sanitation Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment. This role supports food safety, quality standards, and overall facility cleanliness by performing routine and deep-cleaning tasks across production and common areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, and workstations
- Follow sanitation schedules, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Use cleaning chemicals and tools properly and safely
- Dispose of waste and recyclables according to company standards
- Complete sanitation logs and documentation accurately
- Identify and report maintenance or sanitation issues
- Support food safety and quality compliance standards
- Wear required PPE and follow all safety policies
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous sanitation or janitorial experience a plus
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including overnight shifts
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
