JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for managing and supporting production workflow, including coordinating schedules, tracking labor and materials, reporting production status and addressing disruptions to ensure efficient operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.Maintains a good attendance record to ensure that production flows on a continuous basis.
2. Report on all labor transactions from the department on the company ERP system.
3. Evaluate scheduled jobs and coordinate planning requirements.
4. Keep work queue production on date.
5. Evaluating all materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production.
6. Report all labor transactions on the company ERP system.
7. Create requirement reports
8. Handling production disruptions and productivity problems.
9. Performs necessary administrative tasks as required.
10. Support production workflow for one or multiple products.
11. Transfer goods from one department to another using forklift or any other utility.
12. Works in collaboration with a supervisor to meet production goals and requirements.
13. Exhibits knowledge of the company s operations, services and core functions.
15. Meets company s training requirements.
16. Attends mandatory department meetings.
17. Must provide flexibility in scheduled hours as company needs dictate.
18. Printing labels for parts for packaging.
19. Creating pack ID from EPR system for shipping department.
20. Pallet measurements.
18. Additional duties as assigned to ensure productivity is being met.
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Prior experience as a production assistant is preferred. Basic experience in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel. Previous familiarity with general administrative/clerical tasks. Ability to have good communication skills, preferably Bilingual in English and Spanish. Basic math and measurement skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand;reach with hands and arms;climb or balance;stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently list and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
