**Salary:** $65, 000 | **Shift:** 8am-5pm
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Source and evaluate suppliers to secure the best quality, price, and reliability of food products and ingredients.
- Master the art of negotiation to obtain favorable contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
- Stay ahead of market trends to make informed decisions on pricing and availability.
- Work closely with production, inventory, and quality control teams to ensure smooth procurement and delivery processes.
- Keep detailed records for purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Manage supplier relationships and handle any arising issues or disputes efficiently.
- Drive cost savings and seek out procurement process improvements and product innovations.
- Remain updated on food safety regulations and quality standards to guarantee compliance.
**What We're Looking For:**
- Proven track record as a Buyer or Purchasing Manager in the food sector.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and supplier relationship management.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
- Independent worker who can also thrive in team collaborations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
