Job Description


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer Admin to support purchasing operations and vendor management. In this role, you will be responsible for purchasing finished branded products, monitoring inventory levels, and resolving vendor-related issues. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong vendor relationships and ensuring accurate purchasing data.

Location: Scotts Valley, CA

Pay Rate: $20 $24 per hour

Schedule: Monday Friday

Schedule: AM Shift

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze stock alert reports daily and take appropriate action for assigned vendor products
  • Plan and schedule purchases based on inventory levels and discount opportunities
  • Negotiate pricing and promotional deals with vendors
  • Manage vendor relationships to improve pricing, delivery, and product quality
  • Resolve order and invoice discrepancies with vendors
  • Process product updates, including transitions between old and new versions
  • Manage vendor price changes and determine optimal purchasing timing
  • Monitor vendor insurance files to ensure compliance and coverage
  • Track and expedite outstanding orders to meet required lead times
  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, phone communication, and email correspondence
  • Evaluate overstock items and coordinate return approvals with vendors
  • Maintain accurate purchasing and item data in NAVision
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management



Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access)
  • 1 3 years of relevant buying or purchasing experience
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload independently
  • Experience working with vendors and handling corrective actions



Preferred Skills
  • Experience using MS NAVision for planning and ordering
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ability to extract and analyze data to identify trends and support decision-making
