Job Title: Billing Clerk

Pay Rate: $19/hr.

Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM

Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D, PSL




JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Computer experience
  • Micro Soft Office Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ten Key by touch
  • Typing 50 wpm
  • Exceptional self-starter skills.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent follow-up skills.
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Requires knowledge of general business and mathematical skills.
  • Language ability includes reading, writing, spelling and the ability to communicate clearly on business topics.




WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Office environment, performing various tasks concurrently.
  • Overtime required as needed throughout the year.
  • Simi-casual dress attire
  • Billing Clerk reports directly to the Billing Supervisor




DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Alphabetize, resolve and invoice all COD orders while pulling out any backorders.
  • Alphabetize daily orders going out on the day s truck while pulling out any backorders.
  • Print back order list and email copies to the distribution list daily.
  • Mail out all Invoices
  • Process and invoice all will call orders.
  • Process all returns and credits
  • Check the Open orders report, daily and research any open items.
  • Check the scanned items to make sure everything was invoiced.
  • Resolve same day orders.
  • Proofread the pick tickets from yesterday s deliveries, invoice.
  • Run the profitability report email to distribution list daily.
  • Scan all the whites.
  • Support other staff with questions pertaining to paperwork, credits or billing.
  • To follow procedures to ensure that we achieve 100% accuracy on billing.
  • Maintain a high level of communications with Controller on any billing issues.
  • Assist in all company audits requiring Invoice copies, pick tickets and proof of delivery.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the Billing Supervisor or Billing Lead.
  • Maintain a neat and organized work station
  • Insure all time sensitive matters are completed accurately and on time
