We're looking for a detail-oriented and motivated *Temporary* Accounting Assistant to join our team in Oakdale, CA. If you have experience in accounting, strong organizational skills, and a desire to grow within a dynamic company, we'd love to hear from you!
Schedule: 1st shift | Pay Rate: $19/hr | 3-5 months assignment
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
- Assist with payroll preparation and administration.
- Assist with budget preparation and control.
- Maintain financial files and records.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant or in a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis in Excel and Outlook
- General knowledge of computer programs
- Use of office equipment (fax machine, copy machine, etc.)
- Ability to multitask
- Strong organizational and communication (both verbal and written) skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Time management/ability to prioritize
