Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Pay Rate: $17/hr.
Shift: 1st
Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D
1. Inventory:
- Conduct physical inventory of the warehouse ensuring accurate counts.
- Assist Operations Manager in researching problems and coming up with solutions to root causes.
- Conduct systematical transactions as needed in Visual Produce for Inventory, Receiving, and Purchasing.
2. Receiving:
- Create and receive Purchase Orders.
- Receive produce accurately verifying correct quantity and verifying quality is within standards set forth by First Quality Produce.
- Make pick-ups of Produce from various vendors. Maintain integrity of produce by following cold chain temperature guidelines and using careful handling techniques when moving produce.
3. Quality Control:
- Ensure produce in warehouse is in First Quality standards for Shipping AT ALL TIMES.
- All produce needs to be organized, lined up and in First In First Out picking order.
- Complete Quality Control Report. Report will be primarily for highly perishable products that needs closely monitored daily.
- Assist Operations Manager in finding solutions to eliminating shrink. E. Aggressively resolve customer complaints and come up with salutation to prevent future complaints.
- Make decisions on products needing to be re-packed. Coordinate with the Production Supervisor or physically re-work if it s a small amount of produce.
- Follow up on what was lost and communicate everything with Operations Manager throughout the process.
4. Leadership:
- Lead all functions in the warehouse pertaining to Inventory, Quality and Receiving.
- Direct driver s in warehouse duties if pulling, unloading or receiving product.
- The goal of this position is to grow into a Warehouse Supervisor role. As the company grows so will this position.
- Another goal of this position is to take over Leadership responsibilities for driver s to include equipment care, truck maintenance, and overall Leadership of driver s.
