Job Purpose: To fulfill daily orders for the stores. Orders must be picked accurately and still maintain the production number that is required.

Pay Rate: $11.25 - $15.00/hr

Shift: 6am - Job Finish

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Checking in equipment, Puller must inspect pallet jack before the shift starts, fill out an
inspection sheet and report any malfunction or damages immediately.
- Reports to table area to start assignments.
- Puller will be assigned a store order to pull, will receive white case labels, ID sheet and plastic
pallet and will start pulling his order.
- Puller will verify the correct aisle where he will start pulling his order.
- At the beginning of the order he will verify location, sku, description and pick the correct amount
of cases.
- Puller will place the case label on the case after the case has been picked and placed on the
pallet, on long side of the case.
- Puller will stack cases safely and secure heavy items on the bottom and light items on top of the
stacked pallet.
- Pullers will hand wrap pallets all the time. Pallets with light items will be wrapped from the
bottom of pallet to the top; pallets with heavy items will be wrapped from half to the top of the
pallet.
- When the order is complete the puller will place the ID pallet tag on front of pallet and stage it in
the wrapping area.
- All orders pulled must be accurate, correct items and correct amounts.
- Will follow breaks and lunches.

ob Purpose: Process bulk cheese to finish goods by cutting, weighting, wrapping and tagging individual units and placing in trays as finish goods


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The cheese cutting person picks up a block or wheel of cheese from the aluminum cheese tray and cuts the plastic wrap off the cheese
  • The cheese is then placed and position on a stainless steel base by the cheese cutter to be cut
  • Once the cheese is cut by the hand cutting person is placed back onto the aluminum cheese tray were it is passed to the person who performs the next phase of the cutting process
  • The wrapping person places the individual pieces of cheese on a conveyer belt which will place plastic wrap over the cheese, cut the wrap and will heat seal the cheese and wrap together using hot air through or the wrapping person might hand wrap the cheese manually
  • Another person in the group weights the individual s pieces of cheese by placing the cheese on the scale. The scale weights the cheese and prints out a label, which has the weight and price for the unit of cheese. The person puts the label onto the individuals units of cheese and passes the cheese onto the person in the group
  • The last person in the group puts the product label on the cheese, which tells the consumer what type the cheese it is. One individual from the group will clean the aluminum cheese tray so it could be used again during the shift. This process is continued several times during shift

Summary
The Bindery Assistant position is responsible for completing tasks by hand. They operate light duty bindery equipment, assist Operators and perform general labor. The Bindery Assistant position is for entry level and semi-skilled individuals.

The Mail Assistant position will perform effectively to the best of their ability, the following essential duties and responsibilities using their skills and knowledge. The role of the Mail Assistant is to accurately and efficiently maintaining our quality standards of mail production ans assist Equipment Operators.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Counting, collating, shrink wrapping, boxing, banding or taping, drilling and gluing a variety of printed material.
  2. Assist the Operators running the machines by tailing off, loading pockets and stacking skids.
  3. Moving the skids with the use of a pallet jack or lift truck if they are certified to operate one.
  4. Keep the work area neat and clean.
  5. Perform general labor tasks such as sweeping, stacking boxes, relocating pallets and change out paper bins that are full.
  6. Assist in any other bindery functions as needed and directed.

Qualifications
  1. Accurately read a ruler
  2. Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying & dividing)
  3. Read a job ticket
  4. Ability to perform repetitive movement to include lifting, bending & stooping.

    • Puller will be assigned a store order to pull, will receive white case labels, ID sheet and plastic pallet and will start pulling his order.
    • Puller will verify the correct aisle where he will start pulling his order.

    • Puller will place the case label on the case after the case has been picked and placed on the pallet, on long side of the case.
    • Puller will stack cases safely and secure heavy items on the bottom and light items on top of the stacked pallet.
    • Pullers will hand wrap pallets all the time. Pallets with light items will be wrapped from the bottom of pallet to the top; pallets with heavy items will be wrapped from half to the top of the pallet.

    3. Shipping / Packaging Reading and processing of customer orders, work orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped. Re-pack and re-label containers as needed, marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method. Prioritize cut off times to maximize efficiency. Delivery and pick up of product as needed.


    4. Inventory Sample seed lots for germination updates, disease testing, and grow out. Assisting in counting of physical inventory and cycle counts as requested.


    5. Other duties as assigned Maintain an orderly warehouse and report any unsafe conditions to the Warehouse Supervisor. Operate company equipment and vehicles in accordance with company policies. May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed. Other duties as assigned.
